I've spent most of my career in wellness and hospitality. For years, that meant organising group retreats, bringing people somewhere beautiful to slow down and feel better. They worked. But the same wish kept coming back from the people who travelled with us: they wanted to go on their own. At their own pace. Not always on a fixed date, not always in a room full of strangers. They wanted the depth of a retreat, shaped around their own life. So I did the thing I always do: I listened. We brought together large focus groups of the people who'd travelled with us and asked one simple question: what do you actually want? And they told us.
That's where Kaer began.
“Building a brand and real hospitality are the same craft. ”
I've been building brands for almost twenty years. This is my third business. And the longer I do this, the more convinced I am that building a brand and real hospitality are the same craft. Both come down to an eye for detail. To thinking a few steps ahead of the person in front of you. To caring about every moment of the journey, not just the arrival.
You feel it the second you walk into a great hotel; the pride of the people who work there, the story of the people who built the place. That's the soul everyone talks about but few can name. It isn't the architecture. It's the care. And you feel that same soul in a business: it's what a founder pours in, quietly, over years.

Building something that matters takes time. I take my own pace, and so do the hoteliers and partners we choose to work with. That patience is exactly what you feel when you arrive.
Here's what it looks like in practice. Instead of handing you three hundred treatments on a PDF and hoping you'll know what to choose, Kaer matches you to a journey built around what you're actually looking for, designed around the themes people kept asking us for, created at extraordinary properties with remarkable practitioners. And you can book them at your own pace, all year round.
We call our team Kaer Takers, and I mean that literally. Tell us what you need. We've designed the journeys, but we'll shape them around you. How can we help you feel like yourself again? That question sits at the centre of everything.
So when I say Kaer is about care, I mean all of it. Caring for yourself. Caring for the people around you. And the care we put into our hoteliers' stories, into every curated journey, into matching you with something that genuinely fits.
