How the week is built

Day one: assessment. Movement screen, aerobic baseline, load history. Day two to four: strength, alpine hike, mobility. Day five: intervals. Day six: long aerobic day. Day seven: taper, plan, taper massage.

What the mountains give you

Altitude changes the aerobic stimulus without changing the pace. Cold changes recovery signalling. Terrain changes the joints you load. You do not need to force any of it.
