PREPARE, PACK, AND START

What to Pack for the Dolomites

This is a mountain experience, expect fresh air, changing weather, and movement. Here’s what we recommend: Essentials - Hiking shoes (mid-ankle or higher with good grip) - Breathable sportswear (layers work best) - Lightweight down or insulated jacket - Rain jacket or shell (weather can shift quickly in the mountains) - Small Backpack for your daily hikes - Sunglasses & sunscreen (UV is stronger at altitude) - Hat/cap (for sun protection) - Reusable water bottle - Swimwear

How to Prepare

Step Into the Journey

- Train your legs. If possible, take a few brisk walks or hikes before arriving. It’ll help your body adjust to elevation and movement. - Break in your boots. New hiking shoes? Wear them a few times before the retreat to avoid blisters. - Hydrate well. In the days leading up, drink plenty of water, altitude can be dehydrating. - Pack light but smart. Layers are key. The weather can swing from sunny to misty, and we’ll be outdoors a lot.
