Travel at your own pace, allowing yourself the freedom to prepare and unwind before we come together. Don’t go outside, as that will lead you in the wrong direction or make you take a longer route. At the top, walk up a slight incline along the parking area. At the end of this walkway, you’ll see an elevator to the hotel. There are plenty of signs for the City Lodge Hotel, so it’s hard to miss. You’ll be able to check in at with your own name, your own pace, just relax, and settle in for a comfortable start to your retreat. A Journey Within
Welcome to the Wilderness of You
Dear friend It is a great honour to be sharing this special time with you. Thank you for saying yes, to yourself, to your breath, and to the spirit of adventure. We have curated an experience that honours this ancient land and meets you in a way that is gentle, inspiring, and deeply restorative. Our mornings will begin in communion with the land, with practices that open the senses and awaken the body into presence. Through breathwork, movement, reflection, and rest, you will explore the inner landscapes of feeling and imagination. There will be time for solitude and silence, for story and shared humanity. You will create art, write, breathe, and listen to the whispers of your heart. We invite you to receive this retreat as an immersive experience, to be nourished, supported, and guided by your breath, away from the usual distractions of life. This is a space to remember your own rhythm, to rekindle inspiration, and to reconnect with the pulse of life itself. By the end of our journey, may you find yourself breathing with greater ease, rooted in clarity, alive with curiosity, and ready to carry your roar, your authentic, grounded vitality, back into the world. With love and in breath, Ela

Setting Your Intentions
Ground yourself. Arrive with purpose.
To help you step into Botswana already more connected to yourself, we invite you to prepare two personal elements before the journey: 𝟭. 𝗔 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 Ask a close friend, partner, or family member to write you a sealed letter to bring with you. This letter is a mirror, a reminder of your strengths and the parts of you that are still waiting to roar. Knowing that I’m leaving for this special trip to Botswana, I have a small request. Would you be able to write me a letter, either handwritten or printed, sealed in an envelope, for me to bring along on my journey? It would mean a lot to me if you could consider the following questions when writing: » How do you see me as a person? » What do you see as my challenges within my character/personality? » What do you appreciate about me, and what do you see as my strengths? » What traits do you think I have that remain below the surface? » What do you think I should give more attention to in life? Please feel free to make this letter your own. These questions are simply prompts to help you reflect on things that may guide me during my time in Botswana. Thank you so much for taking the time; having this with me will make a real difference on this journey. 𝟮) 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 Please download two songs on your phone (so they’re available offline): » A song that captures or highlights an important moment in your life. » A song that resonates with where you are in life right now. 𝟯) 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁 Take a moment to listen and feel your breathing, without changing it, just watching it for a few minutes. If your breath was a language of your body, heart and soul what would it be saying right now?
