PREPARE, PACK, AND START

What To Pack

We recommend bringing different layers of clothing. This will be useful due to temperature differences and to protect from mosquitoes that might be around during the evenings. Additionally, we recommend wearing natural colors during game drives and hiking (no bright or white) so as not to stand out and scare off the animals. It’s mandatory to wear closed shoes during hikes in the reserve. Trail shoes or hiking boots are recommended for this activity. Packing List ・ Lightweight, breathable clothing (avoid bright colors) ・ Long-sleeve shirts and pants for sun and insect protection ・ Comfortable walking shoes for walking activities ・ Yoga clothing ・ Comfortable clothing for breathwork sessions ・ Sun hat or cap: For sun protection ・ Lightweight jacket: For cooler evenings or mornings ・ Swimwear: For spa and relaxation moments ・ Training/Sport Clothing: For safari trips ・ Warm sweater for cooler nights ・ Sunglasses ・ High SPF sunscreen ・ Insect repellent ・ Water bottle ・ Backpack or day bag ・ Headphones

MEET, CONNECT, AND LEARN

A Special Message from Jo, your Guide & Life Navigator

This is the greatest gift you have given yourself – the time to BE more and DO less – FEEL more and THINK less. It is a time you have invested in yourself to disconnect from the distractions of the world around you, so you can explore and discover or rediscover “Your Roar” – the voice inside you that is calling to come out and be heard! To gain the most out of your experience and honor your time with me, I ask you to be fully present so you can focus fully and connect with the deepest part of yourself, that is not always available in your busy world back home. Please leave home, at home. Transformation is an inside-out job – not an outside-in job. It requires courage, commitment, and perseverance to shift and change. I will walk beside you through this journey as your guide, to ignite the spark that resides within you, that will expand your awareness and possibilities. You will be inspired along your path with enriching learning experiences that will provide deeper insights into you and your life and shine a light on your areas of strength and areas of growth. You will receive one-on-one coaching and enjoy memorable moments that will leave you awake, aware, and ready to take action toward the life you deeply desire. We will navigate our way through the retreat, using different mindful practices like breathwork, meditation, energy work, and other inspiring exercises to move through those experiences that may be holding us back and let go of limiting beliefs. This holistic approach using body, mind, heart, and spirit will lead you on an incredibly inspiring inner journey, allowing you to shift, shape, and transform your life. I invite you to share and communicate your process and experiences throughout and ask as many questions as you need to find peace with what is. I am here to support you and guide you in a safe space, so that you can feel comfortable and confident to explore and expand as you journey through the week. You can always come to me for additional support – I encourage you to share your needs and concerns. There is always time available for one-on-one conversations. Everything remains confidential.
