ARRIVE, SETTLE, AND BEGIN
Your Flight & Arrival Information
We believe it’s essential for everyone to arrive feeling centered and relaxed, so we encourage you to take your journey in your own space and time. Travel at your own pace, allowing yourself the freedom to prepare and unwind before we come together. Upon your arrival at Johannesburg Airport, you’ll find the nearby hotel just a quick 5 to 10 min walk away at the airport. When you exit the terminal, take the escalator up one level towards the parking area; this is one level above the arrivals hall. You’ll see the escalator right away. Don’t go outside, as that will lead you in the wrong direction or make you take a longer route. At the top, walk up a slight incline along the parking area. At the end of this walkway, you’ll see an elevator to the hotel. There are plenty of signs for the City Lodge Hotel, so it’s hard to miss. You’ll be able to check in at with your own name, your own pace, just relax, and settle in for a comfortable start to your retreat. The next morning, we’ll meet briefly before breakfast for a relaxed group introduction. After breakfast, at 8 AM, we’ll depart together for the transfer to Koro River Camp. Should you need to contact someone upon your arrival or at any point during your journey, you can reach Quirine, at: +31 6 14 300 105, or Fenneke, at +31 6 19 024 561.

FOCUS, GROUND, AND PREPARE
1. Letter from family, partner or friend
Before leaving for Botswana, we’d like to ask you to reach out to a friend, partner, or family member; someone close to you who is willing to support you in a meaningful way. Message to send: Knowing that I’m leaving for this special trip to Botswana on November 14, I have a small request. Would you be able to write me a letter, either handwritten or printed, sealed in an envelope, for me to bring along on my journey? It would mean a lot to me if you could consider the following questions when writing: - How do you see me as a person? - What do you see as my challenges within my character/personality? - What do you appreciate about me, and what do you see as my strengths? - What traits do you think I have that remain below the surface? - What do you think I should give more attention to in life? Please feel free to make this letter your own. These questions are simply prompts to help you reflect on things that may guide me during my time in Botswana. Thank you so much for taking the time; having this with me will make a real difference on this journey.

FOCUS, GROUND, AND PREPARE
2. Songs
Please bring along two songs on your phone (downloaded, so we can access them even without Wi-Fi): 1. A song that captures or highlights an important moment in your life. 2. A song that resonates with where you are in life right now.

MEET, CONNECT, AND LEARN
A Special Message from Quirine and Fenneke, Your Leading Guides
To truly disconnect from everything you've built around you in daily life, we encourage you to organize things in a way that allows you to keep your phone off and avoid work during the retreat. This will help you be fully present and make the most of your experience. We will guide you through a deeply transformative process, using breathwork and bodywork to expand your awareness and help you connect with yourself on a deeper level. You’ll engage in insightful exercises, receive 1-on-1 coaching, and experience unforgettable moments. During the retreat we will use different breathing techniques, body-work and energy work to move through those experiences that still restrict us. Your breath and body will lead you on an incredibly inspiring inner journey, allowing you to shift and transform in the moment. We encourage you to keep sharing and communicating your process and experience throughout, so that we can support and guide you in the best way possible. You can always come to us for support, it’s important to communicate your needs. There is always extra time available for one-on-one conversations. Change and transformation don’t just happen automatically, they require bravery, commitment and determination.
