This November, embrace the call of the wild with "Find Your Roar" in Botswana, a unique leadership retreat designed to foster personal and professional growth. Through authentic leadership development activities, daily wilderness hikes, and silent walks within wildlife territories, you'll discover your inner strength and learn to lead with integrity and vision.

Engage in deep connections with yourself and peers during night watches under the stars and reflective councils that promote transparency and self-awareness. Our experienced facilitators lead each participant on a journey of self-discovery, helping you build strength and flexibility.

Day 1: Arrival & Settling In

Begin your African adventure on November 14, as you touch down in Johannesburg at the O.R. Tambo Airport. If you arrive on the direct KLM flight from Amsterdam in the evening, you will be greeted and escorted to the nearby City Lodge Hotel. This conveniently located top-tier hotel provides a comfortable setting to rest before the adventure truly begins. Early the next morning, a private transfer will take you to the heart of the wilderness — the Koro River Camp.

Days 2-7: The Wild Heart of Botswana

We start early on November 15, with a six-hour drive to Koro River Camp, filled with beautiful scenery and excitement. Traveling through the reserve is an adventure in itself, offering your first close-up looks at the region's incredible wildlife and landscapes.

Nestled by the mighty Limpopo River, Koro River Camp is set in a breathtaking part of Botswana. This area is a haven for a special group of leopards and the area with the most brown hyenas in Africa. You'll also see large groups of elephants, zebras, lions, and elands roaming free. Bird lovers will be thrilled by the wide variety of birds that flourish here.

From the comfort of Koro River Camp, our facilitators will guide you through a process of self-discovery and growth. They will provide individual coaching and support, as well as lead group activities and discussions. This allows each participant to explore and discover their own unique leadership style and purpose, enhancing their personal development amidst the awe-inspiring landscapes of Botswana.

Conservation and Comfort in the Wild

Discover Botswana's Tuli Block: A Haven for Wildlife and Well-being

The tented camps are situated in one of the most picturesque locations in Botswana, within the largely untouched Tuli Block—a historic landscape characterized by rugged mountains and expansive plains, intersected by the powerful Limpopo River Delta with its dense river forests. These camps are uniquely positioned right on the river, in an area where a thriving ecosystem of flora and fauna is defined by the iconic Baobab tree. The region is known for hosting a unique leopard population and boasts the highest density of brown hyenas in Africa, as evidenced by studies. It is also home to large herds of elephants, zebras, lions, and elands, with an abundant birdlife. The entire camp is reserved for Kaer, providing the group with guaranteed privacy in the expansive landscape. The master bedroom tented suites are widely spaced, each featuring a private deck with a small plunge pool. All accommodations are initiatives of the Timbo Foundation, a Dutch foundation dedicated to the free migration of wild animals, the reintroduction of the rhinoceros and sable antelope, and the protection of the leopard and other African wildlife. The foundation also supports the local population in education and employment. Consequently, the professional and friendly staff—from receptionists to guides, from drivers to cooks, and even managers—all hail from the surrounding area. All revenue generated by the accommodations is allocated entirely to the foundation.
