Find Balance and Clarity in the Here and Now
Embracing the Present: Bruno’s Journey to Sound Healing and Meditation
Bruno’s path to becoming a facilitator for Kaer began at the young age of 16, when a chance encounter with a monk sparked his curiosity about meditation. "I met a monk when I was just 16, and being naturally curious, it pushed me to explore meditation," he recalls. His journey took him to a Zendo (Zen Dojo), where he was immediately thrown into the deep end, required to sit in silence for 90 minutes straight. As someone used to constant activity, the experience of controlling his breath and focusing on the 'Here and Now' had a profound effect on him. "It was so special," Bruno says, "that I decided then and there to explore well-being even further." From that moment, he dove into the practice of meditation, which set the foundation for his passion to guide others through the same transformative experiences. A Philosophy of Non-Self in Guiding Others Bruno's approach to guiding others is deeply rooted in the concept of 'non-self,' a philosophy that has shaped his entire practice. "I believe the essence of practice is removing oneself from the equation," he says. This philosophy allows him to guide others in a way that is focused solely on their needs, without any expectation in return. At the core of his work is the value of service, something his parents instilled in him from a young age. "It was my parents who truly ingrained in me the value of service to others," Bruno explains. Their influence continues to guide him as he helps participants explore mindfulness, sound healing, and self-discovery. Through his practice, Bruno creates a space where participants can feel supported, present, and open to transformation.
"The here and now is all we have, and if we embrace it fully, it’s all we need to unlock our potential."
The Magic of Playfulness and Curiosity
"Any personal decision to change will be amplified during this retreat"
For Bruno, growth doesn't always have to come through intense effort or grand gestures. Sometimes, the key to transformation lies in embracing a playful and curious attitude. "By being more curious and playful, you can realize the magic in simple things," he shares. This philosophy is woven throughout his work at Kaer, where he encourages participants to approach their personal growth with openness and a light heart. Whether it’s through sound healing, breathwork, or mindful journaling, Bruno’s practices are designed to help people reconnect with the present moment and awaken their sense of wonder in the world around them. What Makes Bruno’s Retreats Special Bruno brings a wealth of skills and knowledge to Kaer’s retreats, making each experience truly unique. "Fun, a listening ear, curiosity, sound healing, and the ritualization of everyday habits," are just a few of the elements that participants can expect during his sessions. With expertise in biohacks, guided meditation, Yoga, and various philosophical traditions—including Chinese, African, and Indian concepts of the energy body—Bruno offers a holistic approach to well-being that blends ancient wisdom with modern techniques. His retreats are not just about learning practices—they are about creating a space where participants can truly connect with themselves and their environment. "Outcomes from these practices, whether minor or significant, can add a touch of magic to your life," he says. Personal Growth and Transformation Bruno believes that the practices offered during the retreat will give participants new perspectives on their current environments, encouraging both internal and external transformations. But if participants come simply to 'be' rather than to change, that’s perfectly acceptable too.
