From Dream to Earthbound Vision
The Story Behind Son Blanc
Son Blanc is the culmination of years of dreaming by Benedicta Linares Pearce and Benoît Pellegrini. United by their love for Menorca -her birthplace and his long-time refuge- the couple set out to create a place that embodies sustainability, craft, and cultural depth. Together with Anne-Cécile Comar of Atelier du Pont and the local expertise of ARU Arquitectura, they transformed an ancient estate into a living, breathing retreat. More than a boutique hotel, Son Blanc is a commitment: to local resources, to ecological balance, and the land’s quiet strength.

Son Blanc is not a hotel. It’s a return to balance - with nature, with time, with ourselves.

Menorca, Unfiltered
Authenticity Rooted in the Land
Tucked away on the most discreet of the Balearic Islands, Son Blanc draws from Menorca’s wild, unspoiled charm—its biosphere reserve, its dry stone paths, its prehistoric talayots. This is a place where nature is protected and celebrated. The estate functions as an ecosystem, designed to evolve with its surroundings. Guests are invited to slow down, to feel the wind, the mineral soil, and the hum of something ancient. Whether walking the land, connecting with local artisans, or tasting food grown on-site, one thing becomes clear: here, nature isn’t curated, it’s lived. Kaer curates transformational experiences in places that inspire inner and outer alignment, and Son Blanc is one of those rare sanctuaries. Built on the values of ecological responsibility, craft, and reverence for the land, Son Blanc embodies the slow, soulful way of being that Kaer seeks to offer. Whether for a personal retreat, a creative off-site, or a journey of reconnection, it’s a setting that invites deep presence, honesty, and growth.
