1. Can you start by telling a bit about your journey and what inspired you to become a facilitator for Kaer?
From a young age, my journey towards personal growth began with a focus on fitness. As I matured, this evolved into a holistic approach, recognizing the necessity for a resilient body and a calm mind to age healthily and pursue our passions. This evolution inspired me to become a facilitator for unique retreats, focusing on mindfulness and well-being.
2. How would you describe 'transformational travel' to someone who's never experienced it?
Transformational travel is about remembering one's true self, shedding old patterns, and embracing deserved self-care. In our retreat in Portugal, we offer deep relaxation and breath work to regulate the nervous system, providing an opportunity for participants to let go of fear and doubt – a journey that empowers change.
3. What special skills or knowledge do you bring to the retreats that make them extra special for participants?
With my background in personal training, I bring a unique perspective to these retreats. I lead the group by offering personalized attention and inclusive fitness classes suitable for all levels. My role is not just as a facilitator but also as a companion, helping individuals to feel better, stronger, and ready to face life with courage and trust.
4. What can participants expect to gain from these retreats in terms of personal growth and well-being?
Participants will deeply explore breathwork, including various techniques like pranayama, resonance frequency breathing, and conscious connected breathwork. This experience is designed for self-discovery and empowerment, allowing people to enjoy life's simple pleasures amidst the stress of daily life. After practicing breathwork for 5 days, people will feel more centered, relaxed, and in tune with themselves.
5. Is there anything else you’d like to share about the power of transformational travel?
Transformational travel is a gateway to a deeper understanding of oneself. It's more than just a physical journey; it's an emotional and spiritual journey that offers a chance to reconnect with what truly matters.
With 70 thousand thoughts racing through our minds each day, the ability to be present becomes crucial. I believe the gateway to mindfulness lies within our bodies – shifting attention inwards, feeling, observing, and choosing our responses instead of reacting out of stress or fear.
